Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda Airport, your shared shuttle driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area holding a nameboard. You will be taken to your hotel and the rest of the day can be spent at leisure.

This morning meet your fellow tour companions for a short welcome briefing in the lobby before departing on a Tokyo full day tour by private coach with an English-speaking guide. Firstly, visit Tokyo’s ancient Buddhist temple, Senso-ji Temple, here you can enjoy strolling through the Nakamise Shopping Street before heading to the world's busiest pedestrian crossing Shibuya and fashionable tree-lined boulevard Omotesando. This afternoon experience beautiful city views from Tokyo Towers observation deck before return to your hotel to freshen up. This evening we will head out for a Welcome Dinner at a local Japanese Izakaya restaurant nearby the hotel.

Day 3

This morning, please leave your main suitcase at reception as it will be delivered to your hotel in Okayama on Day 5. Ensure you bring an overnight bag for 2 nights in total for Osaka and Takamatsu. This morning we will transfer to Osaka by bullet train which takes approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. This afternoon, we will visit Osaka castle and Kuromon Market. In the evening you will have Osaka's soul food Okonomiyaki for your dinner.

Day 4

Osaka {{{train_icon}}} Takamatsu

Today after breakfast, we will transfer to Takamatsu by bullet train and rapid train and this is where the real autumn leave experience will begin! Upon arriving in Takamatsu, we will have an experience of making Japanese Udon Noodles for our for lunch. This afternoon we will explore Ritsurin Gardenone of the most famous historical gardens in Japan. After strolling the garden and the various folk art and craft exhibits we will proceed to the a Bonsai centre located inKinashi or Kokubunji area of Takamatsu. These two areas are famous all over Japan for their pine tree Bonsai which make up about 80% of the domestic market production. After admiring the Bonsai we will then head for our hotel.

Today we will visit Naoshima which is colloquially known as the "Art Island" of Japan's magical Seto Inland Sea. Whilst on the island we will spend time at the Chichu museum, Art House Project, and Benesse Art Museum as well as taking in the stunning natural scenery of the Inland Sea.

Okayama

This morning we will head to Korakuen a beautiful landscape garden reputed to be one of the three best gardens in Japan. This afternoon we will visit the Ohara Museum of Art the first privately operated museum of Western art in Japan. This Museum offers a superb collection of ceramics, paintings and antiquities.

Please leave your main suitcase at reception as it will be delivered to your hotel in Kyoto on Day 7. Ensure you bring an overnight bag for 1 night in Kyoto. 
Today we will head to Kyoto by bullet train. After arriving, we will visit Eikan-do temple a quiet and secluded old temple famous for its autumn leaves. This temple has over 3,000 Japanese maple "Momiji" trees which provide stunning autumn colours. This afternoon we will then take a stroll through the Gion district before heading to our hotel.

Day 8

Today is a full day of exploring the cultural sites of Kyoto. Firstly, we will visit the world heritage site of Kiyomizu-dera temple to see vivid red and orange leaves. After that try a Japanese Calligraphy class before visiting Kinkaku-ji temple famous covered in gold leaf Zen temple. In the evening, we will enjoy our farewell dinner with a memorable Maiko dance performance.

Spend the day at your leisure until you are picked up from your accommodation by a shared shuttle service to take you to Kansai Airport for your departure flight. The pick-up time is about 4 hours prior to your flight.
