Booking Condition

PRODUCTS SOLD BY H.I.S. NEW ZEALAND LTD. & HOURS OF OPERATION

All products sold by H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. have been provided by reputable airlines and/or suppliers and are subject to their conditions and changes without notice. Airline tickets and passports must reflect identical names as some airlines will deny travel if there are any differences. H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. Office trading hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. We are closed Sundays and Public Holidays. Please contact your consultant to arrange document pick up or delivery within these times or at least 7 days before departure.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended by the New Zealand Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade for any travel. Our consultants can issue you with a travel insurance policy to suit your needs before departure that can protect your interests. All insurance claims should be directed to the insurance company.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival to destination country and we recommend that you have at least two blank pages. It is the travellers sole responsibility that passports, visas or re-entry permits meet immigration and foreign government authority requirements. Any penalties imposed by the mentioned third parties for not meeting their requirements is the sole responsibility of the traveller. Should you need information regarding visas or other travel documentation, our consultants have access to an external visa advice provider. Our consultants can obtain this information on your behalf, however H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. can not guarantee any such information, nor accept any liability which may occur as a result. Our consultants can obtain visas at your request for the applicable fee.

LIABILITY & TRAVEL ADVICE

H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. will always do it’s best to provide the best service and most up to date information. The company and its employees will not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by any act, omission or default, whether negligence or otherwise of carriers, suppliers or any other third party or that caused by (but not limited to) act of God, war, hijacking, terrorism or any other event which is beyond our control. PRICES, TAXES, OTHER AIRLINE OR GOVENRNENT CHARGES

Prices, including taxes and airline or government charges are correct as at the time of quoting, are subject to availability and can change or be withdrawn without notice.

PAYMENT

We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit card, direct deposit, travellers cheques(NZD) and company cheques. Personal cheques are not accepted. Credit card charges may apply. When credit card payment is made direct to suppliers, not to H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. your remedy in relation to any act, loss or damage is against that supplier, not against H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. Please make all direct deposits payable to H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. Westpac Banking Corporation, BSB number 03-0195 account number 0643064-000. Please send a copy of your bank transaction receipt for both international and domestic payments by fax or e-mail otherwise your booking may be cancelled by the airline/supplier. Direct deposits from overseas will incur an additional bank fee of NZ$25.00.

PRIVACY POLICY

Your personal details will only be used for booking purposes and the H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. Client File Database. Your personal details will not be passed on to any third party without your prior written authority, except where H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. is required by law to do so. CHANGE AND CANCELLATION

Terms and conditions for changes or cancellation of bookings and purchases will vary from product to product and service to service.Generally, all reservations for products and services purchased on the H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. will incur penalties and/or fees for changes and/or cancellations, imposed by product providers, as well as H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. Almost airfares are non-changeable and non-refundable altogether. Other airfares allow changes at a fee, but are still non-refundable. H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. service fees (Booking Arrange Free, Ticket issue Fee, Credit Card Charge Fee) are non-refundable. H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. will make every effort to advise you change and/or cancellation penalties during the booking process. However, if information displayed on the website is incomplete or absent, you should contact H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. Consultant for clarification. You should not complete a booking if you are uncomfortable with the information provided, or if you have not ascertained to your satisfaction what cancellation and/or change penalties apply to the reservation you are about to complete.

PRICE

H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. quotes or estimates are provided on the understanding that any increases including exchange variances and the costs of Service Providers are beyond H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. control. If you have paid a deposit, H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. will contact you without delay to advise you of any increases. Service Providers may increase their prices until the date of utilisation of the service(s) and as their agent H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. reserves the right to collect the additional amount required from you to recover these increases.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

Deposit or Full Payment is required to confirm acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The deposit is part payment of the full price. Upon receipt of the deposit or Full Payment, H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. will make the necessary reservations for you. Certain suppliers may also require an additional deposit or Full Payment or booking fee before accepting a reservation: when this occurs your H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. consultant will advise you without delay. Your H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. consultant will also advise you of the date required for full payment.

CLAIMS AND REDRESS

If you have an experience during your trip which is not to your satisfaction, H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. strongly recommends that you take the matter up with the Service Provider concerned at the time or as soon as practicable thereafter. Please note that it is difficult (and in some countries impossible) to obtain redress after travel has been completed.

GOVERNMENT DEPARTURE AND AIRPORT CHARGES

All government taxes and levies are included in the price of your airline tickets. Please note that some countries also levy airport or border taxes which must be paid direct.

FREQUENT FLYER MEMBERSHIP

Your H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. consultant can enter your airline Frequent Flyer/Mileage Membership numbers into your reservation: please provide these details. You should also retain boarding passes and ticket copies after travel in case the airline does not record your data correctly. H.I.S. New Zealand Ltd. accepts no responsibility for airline errors or defaults in honouring Frequent Flyer programmes.
